I came home today and it made me so happy to see what was outside our bedroom window. It literally happened overnight; this tree was so yellow it looked like it was plugged in to an outlet and glowing. It makes our whole apartment so warm and golden from the light streaming in it makes me want to bottle it up. I could seriously lay on the bed and stare at it until every last leaf falls off. I have been so sad about the fact that it is our last fall here, and we never got the chance to go up Cedar canyon to hike around and take pictures like we have previous years here. This little treat outside our window just cheers me right up, though.
