Since everyone is out of town this week at the Rawlings casa, I decided to have the nephews over for a sleepover. We played Micro Machines, ate candy, and watched Curious George 2.
Kanyon started whispering something to Christian when I turned off the movie and said goodnight, but I couldn't make out anything but 'mommy'. Then I heard him start to whimper, so I asked the dreaded question, "do you want your mom?" He instantly started scream-crying and yelled YEEEEEEES! By this time Cohen was sound asleep, so I ran Kanyon upstairs and outside and called Lindsey to come get him. Christian wanted to still stay, so we came back down and got re-situated for bedtime.
About two hours later I woke up to Christian on all fours on the bed. I thought he needed to throw up or something, so I grabbed him and sat him on my lap and asked him what he needed. Just then I felt something warm soaking into my pants. Apparently he needed to go to the bathroom. We changed, took a quick shower, and got tucked back into bed for the third time. Then three hours later Cohen woke up for the day, ready to play.
After this, I started reconsidering having three kids. Do you think Cohen would be disappointed if he was an only child?
