10 Months

We've moved him from the hallway bedroom to the living-room-behind-the-couch bedroom, and after two nights of letting him cry it out for a few minutes, he is sleeping through the night (again).  I don't like to let him cry at night, because we are in an apartment where you can hear the neighbors sneeze, but we decided to try for our sanity.  And I'm glad we did.

Talking to toys, books, and us is a new little something to add to his repertoire of cute things that melt my heart.  He'll hold up a toy or book to show me, and tell me all about it in his own little language.

And last, but not least, he does pat-a-cake with me.  Usually he just claps through the whole thing, but lately he's been clapping his hands, rolling his arms, then putting his hands on the back of his head to 'throw it in the air'.  I love this boy.

And this is him in the bath yesterday.  He just realized he can climb up on the side and stomp his feet in the water.

Wow, you have such an eye. I just LOVE these shots. Will you do a family portrait for us when we come to town??
