Desperate

Mr. C has been feeling a little under the weather today.  After trying a few things to cheer him up like playing with Ralphie, reading stories, taking a bath, and attempting to put him down for a nap, I resorted to one of those desperate parenting moves.  I stuck him in his high chair, put the laptop on the table playing Yo Gabba Gabba, and gave him a cookie.  He was in heaven for 20 minutes, and I was able to clean up the house and get my sanity back.  It's amazing what you can get done when you force your child to stay in one place and watch a little mindless television.
