Cohen at 1

Cohen had his one-year checkup on Monday, and the doctor said everything looked great.  He had a small fever, but nothing to worry about.  I think Cohen planned it though, because they can't give shots even with a small fever, so he got out of them until his 15 month checkup.  Lucky boy.

He has fallen to the 89th percentile for weight, and is still off the charts for height.  Actually, he's further away from the 100th percentile than he ever has been before.  Does this mean my chunky baby is starting to thin out?  Curse the day!

Words that Co will say: mom, dad, go, look, ball (look is just the 'k' sound, and ball is just the 'b' sound).  Things he has started to do recently: give the sweetest bear hugs ever (with a small pat on the back, too); fake laugh when doing anything and everything; throw his ball to you from across the room; build a tower four blocks high, then knock it down; stand unassisted (only when Natalie is around to show off to though); and lastly, refuse to walk.  The second we let go of his hands he immediately cowers down to his knees.  I don't blame him, though.  If he does try to walk and falls down, that's a long way down for his tall body.  I'd be scared, too.
