Terrifying.

This bear may look cute and cuddly, but it isn't. It says creepy phrases in a very creepy voice (we like to call it the 'molester voice') while its head moves around and its chest glows red. Our friends that use to manage the apartments we live in thought it would be funny to hide this little creeper under our bed while we were at dinner at their house Sunday night (they still have the master key to the apartments, which I usually don't mind when I lock myself out). Their two older boys snuck over while we were busy chatting and eating and stuffed it under our bed. We got home later that night, went in the bedroom to get ready for bed, when all the sudden we heard a creepy voice say "that's interesting". Joe and I froze and looked at each other both hoping the other knew what the crap it was. A few seconds passed, when again we heard the same voice ask, "are you kidding me?". I have never been more terrified in my entire life. Even when we found out we had a peeping tom for 4 months in our last apartment, I was not as sick as I was hearing this voice coming from under the bed. Joe found the bear, threw it on the bed and we both just stared at it in horror (neither of us had seen this thing before, so we knew someone had been not only in our apartment, but in our room, UNDER THE BED). I instantly started crying and Joe started racing through the apartment to see if someone was still hiding somewhere. I know it sounds ridiculous, but we honestly thought that some stalker was trying to mess with us. Just goes to show what kind of things your mind can do to you when you're freaked out like that. After not finding anyone 'else' in the apartment, I called Cindy to see what she thought we should do, and yes, I was still crying. She just started laughing hysterically, and said, "I thought we had showed you that bear before! We thought you would hear it and be freaked out, but then find it and know it was us!". I told her how we had never seen it before and how terrified we were, and as I was explaining it to her I realized how ridiculous the story really was. We laughed about it for a good hour after that, then finally were calmed down enough to go to bed. I still get freaked out just looking at this stupid bear.
