First Attempt

Thank you to whomever planted green onion throughout the planters in our backyard, who knows how long ago.  They started sprouting up out of nowhere and I can't wait to use them all.

And the little beauty of a basil plant was a mother's day gift that I can't wait to plant and use as well.  I have a feeling the planters in our back yard are going to be my best friend this summer.  I started some other plants from seed about a week ago, and we'll see if they ever decide to sprout up and make an appearance.  I've never attempted a garden before as we've never had anywhere to do it, but I'm hoping this year is a first of many to come.
